To enter Wat Phnom, tourist must purchase a ticket at the ticket office before walking up the hill to the temple. The ticket office can be found at the bottom of the eastern staircase. You have to remove your shoes before you enter the temple to show respect.

Next stop, Angkor Wat–when visiting Cambodia, this is on the top list. They call it the temple city, it was built for the Hindus and it was eventually converted into a Buddthist temple. In the whole Southeast Asia, Angkor Wat is one of the most archaeological sites.

Then, let’s go to The Royal Palace–one of the grandest places to visit in Cambodia. Not all areas in the Royal Palace can be seen by the public but there are still some places that is open to the public like Silvering Pagoda and Throne Hall. The said Palace is a home to His Majesty Preah Bat Smdech Preah Norodom Sihanouk and Her Majesty Preah Reach Akka-Mohesey Norodom Monineath. Majesty Preah Bat Norodom, great grandfather to the current king of Cambodia built the Royal Palace on the year 1866. Travelling to Cambodia is the best thing to do when you want to relieve stress–away from work, business, school and all. It is one of the best places to restore and meditate your peace of mind.
